Meet kaden newton
Hello, I'm Kaden Newton, the Founder of VITALR Technologies. My... quite interesting journey with technology began when I was eight or nine years old, a journey fueled by a desire for video games. Specifically, my deep interest in technology began due to me wanting a common video game called Call of Duty Black Ops 3 without having to pay for it. I watched Youtube videos not knowing it was fake and ended up installing malware on my computer. I had known it was risky, but it was a risk I had been willing to take.
Throughout the usage of this computer following, I had began getting fake McAfee and CCleaner Popups telling me my device was infected. Instead of following the advice of the popups, I researched and learned how to disable those popups and why I had gotten that popup. This led me down a road of understanding different types of malware and other forms of technology. But little did I know, Black Ops 3 was the reason I chose the future I have chosen. I then learned about jailbreaking different devices and getting mobile video games (GTA San Andreas) on my iPod.
When I had gotten to High School, I had heard of CyberPatriot and took the opportunity to get involved. I then began doing outside of school activities, like volunteering at my church and building my own workstation setup.
Now, as a college student in Computer Sciences, my passion extends away from schooling (I've always been bad with school). I find myself drawn to conventions and events, such as B-Sides Augusta, because those focused on something I had actually been interested in. I used what I could learn about the future of technology while gaining skills and knowledge I otherwise could not get and thought to myself, "You know. There are other people out there that want to know just as much as you did, create something to help with that."
